CODE OF CONDUCT

We practice the RACK model (Risk-Aware Consensual Kink), meaning participants acknowledge potential risks and give informed consent before engaging in play.

Participants agree to:  Practice enthusiastic, informed, and ongoing consent. Ask before touching, engaging, or initiating play. Accept “no” immediately and without pressure. Respect that consent may be withdrawn at any time. Silence, intoxication, or uncertainty does not equal consent.

The Lion’s Den is a sex-positive, welcoming space where participants are responsible for their own bodies and limits. Autonomy and expression are honored over performance
Participants agree to: Communicate boundaries clearly. Respect the limits of others without persuasion. Avoid coercion, manipulation, or pressure. Check in with partners during play.

Honesty supports safety within the container. Misrepresentation of critical information may result in removal from events.

Participants must be forthcoming about: Relationship dynamics that may affect play. Sexual health considerations when relevant. Power dynamics that could influence consent.

The Lion’s Den is a curated space for intentional connection.

Participants agree to: Respect facilitators and event guidelines. Support a culture of care and accountability. Avoid disruptive, predatory, or entitled behavior.

The Lion’s Den supports bodily autonomy, dignity, and liberation. Behavior or ideology that undermines the safety or humanity of others is not aligned with this space.

We welcome: BIPOC community members. LGBTQ+ individuals. Diverse expressions of gender and sexuality.

Confidentiality builds trust within the community.

Participants agree to: Respect the privacy of everyone present. Do not share identifying information without consent. Do not photograph or record others without permission.

Participants are responsible for maintaining a clear and safe state.

Participants agree to: Excessive intoxication will not be permitted. Individuals who appear impaired may be asked to sit out or leave. Consent negotiations should occur in a clear state of mind.

Kink experiences can be physically and emotionally intense.  When mistakes happen, accountability and repair are expected.

Participants are encouraged to: Provide appropriate aftercare for partners. Check in with one another following play. Communicate openly if harm or misunderstanding occurs.

Melanin Lion, The Sacred Whore, and designated facilitators hold the container.  These decisions are made to maintain collective safety

Facilitators may: Pause or stop play. Address concerning behavior. Remove individuals who violate community agreements.

By attending a Lion’s Den Pride event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to uphold this Code of Conduct.

Failure to follow these agreements may result in removal from the event and/or exclusion from future gatherings.
