Meet The Pride

Melanin Lion is a co-founder of The Lion's Den Pride and a conscious kink educator, rope practitioner, and community facilitator devoted to creating spaces where desire, power, and embodiment can be explored with integrity and care.  

With over a decade of experience in erotic exploration, trauma-informed services, and behavioral health, his work bridges therapeutic awareness with conscious kink practice.  Lion approaches BDSM not only as play, but as a pathway for self-discovery, personal sovereignty, and deeper connection.

Rooted in ancestral reverences and lineage work; including connection to his Cherokee and Nigerian heritage, his facilitation draws on themes of ritual, presence, and embodied power.  HIs approach centers consent, communication, nervous system awareness, and community accountability within every space he helps create. 

Through The Lion's Den Pride, Lion brings a grounded and intentional approach to BDSM education and experiential gatherings, blending primal energy, ritual, and guidance to support authentic exploration within a culture of trust and respect.  

The Sacred Whore, also known as Brooke Carter, is a co-founder of The Lion's Den Pride and a facilitator devoted to exploring power, desire, and connection through conscious kink and embodied experience. 

With more than a decade of experiencing studying BDSM and Shibari through mentorship, lived practice, and community involvement, she approaches kink as both an art and a responsibility.  She is vetted within Tulsa's kink community and holds a strong commitment to consent, communication, and accountability within every space she helps create.  

Her facilitation style is grounded in somatic awareness and attunement to the body, paying close attention to breath, pacing, and nervous system response.  She believes that power exchange, sensation, and restraint can become meaningful pathways for connection and self-discovery when practiced with clarity, trust, and care.

Brooke holds a bachelor's degree in organizational leadership and is currently a Sexologist in training, furthering her commitment to responsible, informed education around sexuality and kink.  Through Lion's Den, she helps guide experiences that invite participants to explore curiosity, power, and erotic expression within a container rooted in consent and respect.
